**It is anticipated that the internship program this year will be primarily Remote/Work from Home.  However, we hope to be able to have some opportunities for in-office and in-person activities as well.  As such, candidates within commuting distance of ServiceLink's offices in Dallas, TX may be given preference.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Here’s what your internship will look like:

• Create and Innovate: Work on designing and fine-tuning LLMs, RAG pipelines, and Agentic AI systems to solve real-world challenges.

WHO YOU ARE

You’re not just skilled; you’re exceptional. You bring:

• Relevant Education: Undergrad Junior, Senior or Graduate Student in Computer Science or related fields, with coursework or hands-on experience in Generative AI, LLMs, or Machine Learning.
• Proven Experience: You’ve worked on projects involving LLMs, RAG pipelines, Agentic AI, or GenAI-based tools — whether through coursework, internships, Kaggle competitions, or personal endeavors.
• Python Mastery: You write clean, efficient, and innovative Python code
• Creative Problem-Solving: You have a knack for thinking outside the box and transforming abstract ideas into tangible solutions.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

• LLM Fine-Tuning: Train and optimize large language models to address specific business needs.
• RAG Exploration: Develop retrieval-augmented generation systems that integrate knowledge bases for smarter, more context-aware solutions.
• Agentic AI Development: Build autonomous AI agents capable of dynamic decision-making and task execution.
• Multi-Modal AI: Experiment with systems that integrate text, image, and data processing for advanced applications.
• High-Impact POCs: Prototype concepts with real-world applications that could transition into production after refinement.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Educational Background:  Undergrad Junior, Senior or Graduate Student in Computer Science or related fields, with coursework or hands-on experience in Generative AI, LLMs, or Machine Learning.
• Python Expertise: 2+ year of Python programming
• Project Portfolio: Proven experience with AI projects (coursework, personal projects, Kaggle competitions, or internships).
• AI Skills: Understanding of fine-tuning LLMs, building RAG systems, and developing AI agents.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical ideas.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
