Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with a strong background in data engineering to lead and manage data-driven projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management methodologies and a solid understanding of data engineering concepts, tools, and practices. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage data-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Oversee the integration of data engineering solutions into existing systems and processes.
Assist in the development and documentation of data governance and quality standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional information technology experience in an enterprise level environment.
Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in data engineering or analytics projects.
Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, tools, and technologies (e.g., ETL processes, data warehousing, SQL, Python).
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (Computer Science is a plus).
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards is a plus.

Expected annual base salary range:
$125,000 - $200,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
