Job Summary
Data and Analytics are core components of Horizon Next.  They are used to drive and inform decision making at all levels of the company.  The Horizon Next Analytics team offers a suite of analytical models to help our strategy and client teams plan and optimize media campaigns.

The Manager, Product Management will lead the implementation and maintenance of these models across our clients.  They will be a go-to expert on the models offered by Next Analytics and will work closely with the Horizon Next strategy and client teams as they use the various models.  The Manager will be able to speak to the use cases for each model, the data needed to run each model, and how best to interpret and utilize the model outputs for decision making. The Manager will also be responsible for fixing, improving, and expanding the outputs and capabilities of existing models.

The Manager will also develop and prototype new types of models that can be included as part of the Next Analytics offerings.  This will include working with strategy and client teams to understand gaps not satisfied by our existing models.  The Manager will also identify new, untapped data sources that can provide value for our clients.

This is a hands-on role in which the Manager will be deeply involved in both the data inputs for the models and the code that runs them.  The Manager will also mentor junior members on the Analytics Product Management team to help them learn and become more proficient in their roles.

Develop new analytical models for Next Analytics (20%)

  • Test new and existing models to optimize model results and model runtimes

  • Identify and onboard new data sources that can provide value for our client’s models

  • Productionalize new models and standardized processes so new models can be used by all clients

  • Code new models and algorithms to provide new types of valuable data for strategy and client teams

Mentor and lead junior team members (20%)

  • Showcase best practices for model development and data onboarding

  • Be a resource for technical questions from junior team members and assist with their education

  • Guide junior team members in their work with strategy and client teams (non-technical teams)
