The Workforce AI, Data, and Integration team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Full Stack/Data Eng Developer to join our Data team. You’ll have an opportunity to join a dynamic team delivering data-driven solutions across much of the Human Resources organization and Generative AI solutions. Our primary focus is ingesting data into a Data Lake where it can be managed, visualized, and reported throughout its life cycle.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions. As part of this team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate should have a background in software development, along with experience in cloud technologies.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver data-driven solutions for businesses, complementing existing business teams with additional resources, perspectives, ideas and solutions.
  • Collaborates with partners across enterprise and businesses to identify product and technical requirements, identify and deliver integration needs.
  • Use data engineering skills and analytical rigor to analyze data and extract useful insights using techniques such as data analysis, data mining, optimization tools, and machine learning.
  • Promote a very high standard of quality, reliability and performance for data models and algorithms that can be streamlined into the engineering and sciences workflow.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses for partners using various datasets, including: KPIs deep dives, predictive modeling, machine learning models, etc.
  • Process structured and unstructured data into efficient data models suitable for analysis and reporting and sophisticated analytics environments and build high-volume and near-real-time automation processes for data delivery.
  • Construct and rebuild / improve software and web applications. Assists with the software update process for existing applications and rollouts of software releases.
  • Lead projects from planning stages through execution and delivery, collaborating with business units, agencies, and peers to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Communicate across the enterprise with various stakeholders and teammates on ongoing workstreams and projects
  • Manage and prioritize incoming requests from various enterprise partners with existing and overlapping projects.

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 4 years’ experience with a programming language such as Python, Scala, Java and the experience writing reusable and efficient code to automate analyses and data processes.
  • Experience with processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data in a cluster-computing environment or similar experience
  • Experience formulating opinions on constructing data processing systems and good knowledge of the principles of systems at scale using big data technologies, like Spark, and Databricks, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with AWS and other cloud technologies including AWS services, such as EMR,  Athena, Glue, S3, Kinesis, Lambda, and Sage Maker is a plus
  • Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
  • Experience with software development and CI/CD automation a strong plus
  • Experience in other Data Lake platforms like Teradata and SnowFlake is a strong plus.
  • Experience in defining and implementing Generative AI use cases is a strong plus.
  • Strong curiosity, leadership and eye for business – possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empower, collaborate and influence
  • Ability to deliver on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable, hard-working, confident and resourceful.
