The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Data Scientist with experiencing in software engineering in support of the Department of the Air Force Cloud Works (DAF Cw) mission of enabling the intelligence Community to rapidly deploy capabilities by leveraging cloud-based services, accelerating their path to production. As a valuable member of the DAF Cw team, you’ll be expected to collaborate with peers, consult with customers, and provide subject matter expertise supporting a broad portfolio of applications. 
 
Job Responsibilities:
· Use critical thinking to assess deficiencies in existing solutions or expert system-based applications and provide recommendations for improvement
· Devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets.
· Make/communicate principled conclusions from data using mathematics, statistics, computer science, and application specific knowledge.
· Make informed recommendations regarding competing technical solutions through awareness of the constantly shifting customer collections, processing, storage and analytic capabilities and limitations.
· Translate complex technical concepts and findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. 
· Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to deploy data-driven solutions
· Build and optimize data pipelines, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes or APIs to support data ingestion and processing.
· Automate data collection, preprocessing, and transformation tasks to streamline workflows.
· Use version control systems to manage code and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  
Qualifications:
Required:
· 3+ years Data Scientist
· Current Top-Secret SCI security clearance
· Bachelor’s degree CS, or related field
· Python
· AWS knowledge
· CompTIA Sec+ Certification

Desired:
· Willingness and aptitude to stay updated on the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and software engineering to propose innovative solutions.
· Experiment with new tools, frameworks, or methodologies to improve existing processes.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,800-$128,600
