Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

Responsable de recopilar, procesar y analizar datos provenientes de diferentes fuentes para transformar la información en insights que apoyen la toma de decisiones estratégicas. Este rol requiere una fuerte capacidad técnica para manejar grandes volúmenes de datos, diseñar consultar eficientes y desarrollar reportes y dashboards interactivos 

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidación de datos integrando información de diversas fuentes 

• Automatización de procesos optimizando la extracción, transformación y carga de datos 

• Analizar y depurar grandes bases de datos para producir reportes claros, funcionales y accionables. 

• Diseñar y gestionar dashboards interactivos en Power BI, empleando conocimientos intermedios y avanzados de DAX. 

• Implementar herramientas avanzadas en Excel, incluyendo tablas dinámicas, macros y fórmulas complejas. 

• Colaborar con equipos interdepartamentales para identificar y definir métricas claves relevantes. 

Experiences/Education - Required

• 5+ años de experiencia como Tecnico
• Experiencia en analisis de datos y en elaboración de reportes 
• Dominio de SQL y conocimientos prácticos de lenguaje de programación orientados al análisis de datos 
• Experiencia en el uso de herramientas de BI(Tableau, PowerBi,, etc) 
• Conocimientos en métodos estadísticos y técnicas de análisis de datos 
• Familiaridad con procesos de ETL y manejo de grandes volúmenes de datos 
• Título en ingeniería, informática, estadística, matemáticas o afines

• Capacidad analítica orientada a la solución de problemas 
• Atención al detalle y precisión en el manejo de datos 
• Buenas habilidades de comunicación para presentar datos de manera clara y comprensible 
• Capacidad para trabajar de manera colaborativa en equipos multidisciplinarios 
• Proactividad y disposición para aprender nuevas herramientas y tecnologías
