Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced data analytics, reporting and dashboarding solutions using Analytical tools like PowerBI, Tableau, QuickSight and SQL databases. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on creating semantic models and utilizing complex DAX measures. A limited understanding of AWS and Azure Cloud technologies is advantage to have.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain complex dashboards and reports using PowerBI, Tableau and QuickSight.
- Design and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Create and manage effective semantic models across cloud platforms and sources applications to support data analysis and reporting needs.
- Utilize DAX measures to enhance data analysis capabilities within PowerBI or in other relevant technology stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven information insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security maintained across all reporting solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the use of reporting tools and dashboards.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.
- Assist in the integration of AWS and Azure Cloud technologies into existing data workflows.
- Ability to create dataflows, Power Queries to do minimalistic ETLs when required for dynamic transformations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Over 8 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboarding.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Data Programmatic skills in Python, R, Spark and Notebooks
- Expert proficiency in Visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and SQL databases.
- Strong understanding of creating semantic models and using DAX measures.
- Limited understanding of AWS and Azure Cloud technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
