Junior Data Scientist

Job Brief:

Employment Type: Full Time, Onsite

Timings: 12PM-9PM

Location: Johar town G4, Lahore

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Cleaning: Process and clean datasets according to the instructions and guidelines provided, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Data Analysis: Use advanced Excel techniques such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP to organize, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Discrepancy Identification: Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or anomalies in the datasets and provide solutions to resolve these issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Consumer Scientists to understand data requirements, clarify analysis goals, and deliver actionable insights.
• Reporting: Create and maintain reports based on clean, analyzed data for internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with business needs.
• Problem Solving: Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address data-related issues and challenges in a timely manner.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation on processes, instructions, and findings related to data cleaning and analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Freshers are encouraged to apply
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with extensive experience using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and other advanced functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with an eye for detail and the ability to identify data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with working in collaboration with scientists, researchers, or data specialists.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
