Data Quality Intern

Responsibilities:

• Review and correct over legacy data with missing or inaccurate fields.

• Input product data on a daily basis according to the required format and established data standards (e.g., product name, SKU, pricing, category, etc.)

• Cross-reference internal records and external sources (as applicable) to validate data.

• Ensure that all entered data is accurate, complete, and consistent with actual product information.

• Perform data validation and double-check entries before and after inputting into the system.

• Work with Excel, spreadsheets, and internal tools to update and maintain records.

• Assist in documenting data quality rules and data-cleaning processes.

• Coordinate with relevant teams (such as merchandising, warehouse, logistic, or sales) to clarify or verify incomplete or incorrect product information.

• Support the data/operations team in identifying long-term improvements to reduce data error.

• Capable of performing basic data analysis to uncover trends and anomalies.

Requirement & Qualifications:

• Available to work full-time for the duration of the internship (3–6 months).

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.

• Basic understanding of inventory, stock movement, or warehouse operations is a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., filters, sorting, basic formulas) and familiar with spreadsheets.

• Able to follow data formatting guidelines and naming conventions consistently.

• Comfortable working with large volumes of product or inventory data.

• Good communication skills for coordinating with warehouse, logistics, or merchandising teams.

• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to handle repetitive tasks without losing focus.

• Knowledge of basic SQL or reporting tools is a plus.
