What's The Job?

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on AI Architect who will be responsible for defining and implementing our AI strategy. You will explore, evaluate, and integrate advanced AI, LLM tools, and intelligent agent frameworks to boost engineering efficiency and to reinvent our flagship Palette platform. The ideal candidate is a visionary technology leader with a solid background in artificial intelligence and a passion for leveraging AI to solve complex engineering challenges.

📍 Location: This is a full-time position based in our headquarters in San Jose, California.

Key Responsibilities

Establish Company-Wide AI Strategy

• Lead the development of an AI roadmap aligned with Spectro Cloud’s business goals.
• Identify strategic AI opportunities across engineering, product innovation, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, product teams, and engineering to prioritize AI initiatives.User stories & persona definitions

Enhance Engineering Efficiency

• Evaluate and integrate AI/LLM tools that streamline development processes, automate routine tasks, and improve code quality.
• Design and deploy prototypes that leverage AI for predictive maintenance, performance monitoring, and intelligent automation.
• Train engineering teams on AI best practices and tooling.

Innovate the Palette Platform

• Explore and experiment with AI/LLM/agent-based technologies to reimagine core aspects of our Palette product.
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to incorporate AI-driven features, such as natural language interfaces, intelligent configuration, and self-healing mechanisms into the product.
• Pilot and iterate on new AI-driven workflows that enhance user experience and operational agility.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years in AI/ML architecture, with hands-on experience in LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Llama) and frameworks and tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex etc.
• Proven track record in designing and deploying AI solutions within complex, scalable systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cloud-native environments, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Prior involvement in AI strategy development and enterprise-level AI projects.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
