Software Engineer II - App Platform

Are you passionate about AI? Are you interested in building software platforms? We are looking for a creative and ambitious Software Engineer with a strong coding and AI background to join the team. As a key contributor, you will collaborate with other engineers to design and develop microservices and other components of our AI platform. Your contributions will play a crucial role in advancing our industry-leading products.

Job Description

What you would do:

• Design and develop the components of our app platform, specifically those that enable AI capabilities.

• Collaborate within agile, fast-paced development teams, delivering product features and enhancements.

• Ensure the scalability, availability, and security of applications, adhering to best practices for cloud environments.

• Proactively triage and resolve code defects, ensuring minimal disruption to production systems and quick issue resolution.

• Maintain secure coding practices and address application security findings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safeguarding against vulnerabilities.

What you would need to succeed:

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in software development.

• Strong expertise in Javascript, Typescript, or Python.

• Experience with public clouds (especially AWS).

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

• Experience with LangChain and AI patterns such as RAG and ReAct is a plus.

• Experience with Authz, especially OAuth and JWT is a plus.

• Experience with agent platforms like LangGraph or CrewAI is a plus.

• Experience with databases such as DynamoDB or Postgres is a plus.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies and a collaborative approach to continuous improvement.

• BS or MS degree in CS or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
