Your mission

As a Senior Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing our clients’ end-to-end data ecosystems. Your mission is to craft robust, scalable, and efficient data architectures that empower organizations to become truly data-driven. You’ll have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies and guide both technical teams and business stakeholders through critical architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Collaboration:

    • Engage with business leaders and technical teams to identify data needs and drive data-centric strategies.

    • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable data architecture blueprints.

  • Architecture Design & Implementation:

    • Design comprehensive data ecosystems covering ingestion, transformation, storage, and distribution.

    • Leverage modern data stack technologies (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Airbyte) alongside Google Cloud solutions to build best-in-class architectures.

  • Technical Leadership & Communication:

    • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on data integration and management best practices.

    • Lead discussions and presentations to articulate the benefits and trade-offs of architectural changes, ensuring all stakeholders understand the strategic vision.

  • Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

    • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for enhancements in scalability, security, and data quality.

    • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually refine our data strategies.

Your profile

Experience & Expertise:

  • Proven track record as a Data Architect or similar role, with deep experience in designing complex data ecosystems.

  • In-depth knowledge of modern data stack tools, including dbt, Airflow, Airbyte, and similar technologies.

  • Strong background in Google Cloud Platform, particularly with data services such as BigQuery and Dataflow.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to see the holistic picture of the data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to storage and analytics—and design integrated solutions.

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) and familiarity with data processing frameworks.

Communication & Leadership:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

  • Experience in driving architectural change by weighing pros and cons and effectively convincing stakeholders.

Other Qualities:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

  • Must be eligible to work in Europe.
