Department Overview

Consumer Health is a business unit within the Pharmaceutical Segment  of Cardinal Health that provides retail strategies and customer-driven solutions through our broad portfolio of non-Rx products and marketing solutions for pharmacies, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and regional chains. The Consumer Health team is a talented group of individuals spanning across several disciplines including category management, marketing, operations, and analytical expertise.

Location

This role requires one to be onsite at our Dublin, OH headquarters twice per week with 3 days remote.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with stakeholders and technologist to implement/automate/operationalize models into day-to-day business decision making.

  • Present complex data information to internal customers.

  • Identifies key data requirements and acquires data; harmonizes, rescales, and cleans data for statistical techniques; applies data visualization techniques to evaluate data for model specification etc.

  • Works with the business team to understand business rules, data flow and appropriately create reporting and analytics for the program.

  • Works with stakeholders to identify business opportunities, goals, or objectives; determines if objectives can be met using an analytical approach and develops hypothesis.

  • Builds custom quantitative models by applying advanced statistical methods such as causal and predictive modeling, forecasting, data mining, simulation, and/or optimization.

  • Interprets results of quantitative models, identifies trends and issues, and develops alternatives to support business objectives.

  • Works with complex datasets to perform exploratory data analysis to provide insights to facilitate business decisions.

  • Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects

  • Bridge the gap between technology and business stakeholders.

  • Perform exploratory data analysis with complex datasets.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel knowledge.

  • Proven advanced experience with Tableau

  • Alteryx proficiency.

  • Strong ability to write SQL

  • Professional experience in an analytical role performing statistical analysis

  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills

  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex data information to a variety of audiences and mediums.

Anticipated salary range: $79,700 – 113,800
