The Data Management Intern (CDMS) is an internship starting as soon as possible until the end of 2025.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Driving the contract management process
Maintaining master data objects in SAP system, such as customer master and rebates
Driving the price approval process and maintenance of pricing conditions in SAP system
Analyzing data and figures, providing ad hoc reports to APL and export markets’ stakeholders
Support export markets’ local team to set up contract requests, using the tools and available files
Review contract requests and assign them to the relevant functions for approval
Draft and issue contracts and amendments
Upload drafts and fully executed copies to the contracts repository
Manage the approval flow of Price Change Form (PCF) and Equipment Financing Arrangement (EFA) and maintain templates on a regular basis
Create and maintain customer master data, as well as all related objects such as pricing conditions, EFA contracts and rebates in SAP system
Participate in projects related to Finance and Supply Chain by providing reports and analyses to facilitate business needs
Support APL and export market stakeholders by providing monthly KPIs, price lists, accruals reports, customer master and contract reports, to ensure business efficiency
Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and guidelines (e.g. Alcon Accounting Manual (AAM), Alcon Financial Controls Manual (AFCM), regulatory and quality requirements)
Implement and maintain SOPs related to GEM Contract & Data Management processes, and provide trainings to respective stakeholders on our internal procedures
Proactively evaluate and identify areas of improvement in existing processes and continuously collaborate with cross-functional team members to implement “best-in-class” strategies
Perform ad hoc controls on monthly and quarterly basis
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Commercial apprentice degree; Higher education degrees such as Bachelor or Master will be a plus
Experience in administrative functions with strong customer orientation ideally.
Good Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, etc).
Knowledge of SAP system preferably.
Experience in a pharma and/or medical device international company would be a plus.
Basic Financial knowledge and Information Technology skills
Communication skills and Customer focus
