Senior Analytics Engineer - Smoobu (m/f/d)

You will drive Smoobu's growth by developing end-to-end data products using a modern data stack, delivering meaningful and actionable insights. You will also elevate our analytics capabilities as a pioneer in implementing advanced data analytics methods.

• Lead and develop analytical projects for the Product and Marketing departments, working closely with business stakeholders at every stage of the project
• Build, enhance and optimize data models and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making
• Pioneer the use of predictive analytics methods to solve complex business challenges and unlock the full potential of data at Smoobu
• Provide occasional support to the team by assisting with ad-hoc data analytics tasks

• Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Science, or Business Intelligence domains
• Work with modern data stack architecture and tools (e.g. Snowflake, Airbyte, Airflow, dbt)
• Demonstrate proficiency in SQL for data modeling
• Apply statistical techniques for data mining and predictive modeling (e.g., clustering, classification, and regression)
• Are proficient in Python, including experience with the main packages for data analysis and machine learning
• Create data visualizations using tools like Superset (preferred)
• Communicate effectively and manage stakeholders, translating complex data insights into actionable business recommendations
• Take ownership and accountability in delivering impactful insights and driving strategic initiatives
• Mentor and upskill team members, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken, clearly communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences

Nice to have:

• Experience with A/B testing
• Previous work in SaaS companies
• Prior experience as a Data Scientist
