Project Engineer

Our systems disassemble Li-ion battery packs into reusable Li-ion cells, minimizing waste and maximizing sustainability. Our mission is to bring cost of re-using material down and enable true urban mining with robotics and smart software. The cheaper disassembly is, the closer we get to a real circular economy. 
YOUR ROLE We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer to oversee technical projects from concept to deployment. The Project Engineer will coordinate with various engineering and business teams, manage project timelines, and ensure quality and compliance with industry standards and stakeholder expectations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and highly effective communication.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES The scope of responsibility is, not limited to, detailed below: 

• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring engineering projects according to defined timeline
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, automation and quality assurance.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders.
• Liaise with the procurement team for materials project related.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final project evaluation.
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency.

• Completed a Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or any related field) 
• 2+ years experience in project engineering or a similar role.
• A first practical experience in fast paced environment is required (startups or consulting).
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and industry regulations.
• At least 1 relevant experience in the machine manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software is an advantage, project management tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in budgeting, cost estimation, and risk management is a plus.
