Your Role:
- Optimize portfolios based on model views, market conditions, and investment guidelines.
- Oversee daily optimization results, devise trading plans for managing exposures and liquidity, and analyze portfolio performance drivers.
- Collaborate with product, business development, and client teams for portfolio analysis.
- Work on projects with senior portfolio managers and researchers to improve systematic investment portfolios.
- Coordinate design and automation for portfolio management workflows.
- Run cloud-based data processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, validate research team process changes, and document exceptions.
- Interact with data systems using Python and SQL for data checks and queries, utilize third-party software for data retrieval, and assess data validation exceptions.
- Research economic and corporate event impacts on financial data, locate replacement data, and update and enhance processes and systems.
- Identify operational risks and communicate with stakeholders regarding data-related issues and solutions.
What You’ll Bring:
- Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computational Finance, Economics, or a related field of study, plus two (2) years of experience in asset classes including commodities, equities, foreign currencies, and fixed income; applying understanding of trading in financial markets; applying knowledge of factors that influence market movements and risk factors; analyzing market trends and interpreting financial news; applying knowledge of financial market impacts on investment strategies; creating investment portfolios with macro products (equity indices; fixed income; currencies; commodities; credit derivatives); programming languages including Python, MATLAB, R, and SQL; and/or, applying quantitative concepts in calculus, linear algebra, and statistics to systematic investment models.

The salary for this role is $120,000 - $140,000.00/year.
