AWS Data Engineer with PowerBI

Responsibilities

- Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, EMR, and Lambda.

- Manage ingestion from various sources (APIs, databases, files).

- Develop transformation logic and metadata frameworks.

- Optimize data lake performance (partitioning, compression, query tuning).

- Implement data validation and quality monitoring.

- Collaborate on data modeling and storage formats (Parquet, ORC, Delta).

- Design semantic models and datasets for reporting.

- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

- Optimize DAX queries and report performance.

Essential skills

- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role;- Proven experience with AWS services such as Glue, S3, Kinesis and Lake Formation;- Strong knowledge of Python, Pyspark and SQL;- Good knowledge of schema evolution, lineage tracing and DQ structures and understanding of star/snowflake schema and dimensional modeling;- Experience in integrating Power BI with cloud data sources and APIs;- Good knowledge of English.
