About the Job:
Data Analysts must work with cross-functional teams to develop a collection method for pertinent data. Once data is collected, the Analyst must vet it to ensure its accuracy and consistency. The Analyst is expected to review the data and present it in a form that allows for a summarized review to make data-driven business decisions. The Analyst needs to be able to map the source of the data and develop a plan to monitor data to ensure integrity long-term where applicable
The Data Analyst position reports to Operations but will often be engaged with other departments and cross-functional teams as data is needed for continuous improvement and operation excellence.
What You Will Do:
- Analyze data and translate it into meaningful information, review for outliers and/or other erroneous datapoints and present findings.
- Vet data and extrapolate data pattens and trends
- Monitor and maintain data integrity within Glovia to ensure commonality across international sites
- Develop rules and methodologies for effective data management within Glovia
- Present concise consistent data and actionable conclusions in easily understood charts, graphs, or spreadsheets.
- Answer questions concerning results
- Document existing data development & collection processes
- Develop, articulate, and implement new ideas and systems that will streamline and simplify data collection and dissemination of information.
- Develop a global data management and analysis plan to ensure data collection and reporting is standardized and consistent across sited allowing management to strategically drive issues to closure and promote continuous improvement.
What You Need:
- Minimum two years in data collection & analysis
- Minimum two years’ experience in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Projects
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team through Lean projects
- BS in science field or equivalent with training in statistical analysis and data mining
- Experience in sorting and analyzing field data
- Strong skills in the use of MS Excel (X-lookup, If-Then, Pivot tables) and other data analysis tools
- Ability to process information logically
- Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate data limitations and deadlines, as well as present findings to management and colleagues
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, fluid, and technical organization
- Ability to balance competing priorities and concurrent projects
- PowerBi skills & bilingual in Spanish a plus.
- 20% travel to LI, NY and 5% travel to Matamoros, MX
Our good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $59,764 - $76,259. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a full benefits package. This position offers remote work model.
