A Sr. Analyst Advanced Analytics Optimization is responsible for developing models, optimization tools and reports and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Advanced Analytics Optimization team. As a Sr. Analyst Advanced Analytics Optimization, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing analytics solutions to improve operating efficiency, reduce cost and increase revenue across Ensure Supply (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement).
Primary responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain analytics models, dashboards and tools to drive continuous improvement across Ensure Supply. Train and support users for self-service analytics tools.
- Analyze model outputs and reports to generate insights. Summarize and present insights to project stakeholders using well-crafted communications.
- Analyze the physical manufacturing and distribution network to ascertain whether it is functioning according to the needs and objectives of the company. Participate in the selection of sites for plants and distribution centers. Participate in the determination of warehouse size, inventory requirements, product flow, and the facility locations.
- Assist in evaluation and monitoring of supply chain plans, manufacturing, transportation and distribution costs. Work collaboratively to develop analytics solutions to solve supply chain business problems under the supervision of an Advanced Analytics Optimization Lead or Principal.
- Requirements and minimum education level:
- A graduate degree in industrial engineering, operations research, or a related engineering and science discipline
Experience & skills:
- 3+ years of validated experience in applying operations research techniques
- 1+ year of experience in Python programming.
- 1+ year of experience in data wrangling using SQL
- 1+ year of experience developing dashboards using Power BI
- Experience with supply chain network optimization and inventory optimization preferred
- Experience with optimization software (Gurobi/Coupa SC Guru/CPLEX) preferred
- Experience with object-oriented programming, CI/CD frameworks, and MLOps best practices is a plus
- Familiarity with other analytical approaches (machine learning, simulation, etc.) is a plus.
- Very strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral presentations and written reports.
- Experience with Azure and Databricks is a plus.
