We're where government and tech collide.As Sr. Software Developer I, you’ll be involved in efforts to conceptualize, design, implement, and support T&E workflows for computer-vision AI/ML use cases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing Python applications that use machine learning. A working knowledge of data science principles, especially related to computer vision, is a significant advantage.

What you’ll do:
- Develop computer vision AI/ML T&E workflows as part of a ~10-member team of engineers and software developers.
- Develop understanding of user workflow needs and propose appropriate solutions based on those needs.
- Develop AI/ML tools, techniques, and workflows that demonstrate best-practices and serve as reference implementations for customers.
- Design and conduct simulations to evaluate the performance of proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to build user-facing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to modeling and simulation.
- Document and present findings to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay informed of emerging trends in the scientific Python community.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- An active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience writing Python applications for data science, model development, or similar use-cases.
- Strong proficiency in standard scientific Python libraries (e.g. NumPy, PyTorch).
- A working understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithm design.
- Extensive experience working with Git version control and participating in code reviews.
