This position will focus on creating and maintaining containers as well as enabling container deployments and implementations of serverless architectures within AWS.

Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life.  You must have detailed experience with AWS and all of its resources (or least its main ones EC2, S3, cloud formation stacks and RDS), as well as very familiar with Cloud formation scripts to create and maintain AWS resources. 

You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:

• Object Oriented Programming experience
• AWS (e.g., CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, and ElasticSearch)
• Relational databases (e.g., RDS, Oracle, Postgres) MySQL
• Continuous integration technology (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab/GitHub)
• Interacting in a Linux environment (ex - Bash scripting)
• Jenkins and creating Jenkins Pipelines while having and understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices
• Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Groovy or bash shell scripting
• BS/BA in Computer Science OR equivalent combination of education and experience
•  Requires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• May have deep knowledge of project management. Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems..  
• You must be willing to help in all cases as well as be familiar with architectural best practices. 

Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

• Application platforms such as Spring Boot or Angular
• Log analytics tools such as Splunk or ElasticSearch
• Working with containers using Docker or Podman
• Container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and Mesos
• Communicating with users, technical teams, and senior management
• Working with Microservices
• Front end development using Angular 10
• Familiarity with Source code management and integration (ex - GitHub/GitLab)
• Working in an Agile environment (JIRA, Confluence)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable managing competing priorities and are able to bring order to ambiguous scenarios
