About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer-Data Architect to join our team. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and managing the data architecture that supports business intelligence solutions. 

You will ensure that data is collected, stored, and processed efficiently to provide actionable insights for decision-making. Pivotal to this role is the design and development of Kimball conformed dimensional data models to empower both BI and self-service report developers and business users.  Leveraging expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL Server, data governance, management and Kimball dimensional modelling to providing actionable insights to support decision-making across the organisation is of critical importance. 

About You: 

  • Demonstrable knowledge and use of Kimball dimensional modelling techniques – please DO NOT apply if you cannot demonstrate in-depth working knowledge of this DM technique

  • Degree: Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field

  • Proven experience and understanding of data architecture, governance and warehousing concepts

  • Proficiency in using Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and SQL and similar technologies to govern and manage data, create dimensional data models, interactive visualizations and reports.

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong track record of designing and delivering impactful full-stack reporting solutions.

  • Experience Microsoft Fabric Data Pipeline, Dataflow or similar ETL tools for data extraction, transformation, loading and analysis.
