Your Role 

The purpose of this role and your unique contribution is to help design and implement data models in DBT/SQL. By collaborating closely with the Lead of Data Modelling and interfacing with external teams, you help in embedding and maintaining established standards. Your specialised skills and insights are pivotal in ensuring the team's delivery of top-tier data solutions.

Your ability to own the modelling function, work collaboratively with peers and stakeholders and mentoring skills will ensure your success in the role.

This is a max term position running through till the end of June 2026 and can be based in Gadigal Country (Sydney) and (Naarm) Melbourne.

About You  

• Ability to design, develop and maintain DBT models with a focus on creating reusable and optimized data structures.
• Advanced SQL capability to deliver efficient and scalable data models.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing data-related standards and fostering a culture of continuous technological and process improvement.
• Expertise in creation and delivery of aligned data models, specifically for reporting and predictive modelling, in adherence to organisational standards.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal, technical, and business stakeholders to gather data requirements and influence data product planning and roadmaps.
