Job Summary
As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the Supplier Quality function on an ongoing basis in line with the Quality Management System and Quality Policy. This role ensures that the business’s products and services are fit for purpose and meet customer expectations. You will ensure that suppliers continue to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste, and continuous improvements to meet quality standards, minimize quality costs, and maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Generate and present reports to support decision-making processes in procurement and supply chain management.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies.
- Support Global supply chain activities, including Vendor Managed inventory planning, logistics optimization, and forecasting requirement plan with Plants.
- Conduct spend analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analyses and reports using AI Tools.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience 5-7 years in relevant field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in procurement and supply chain functions.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g.,Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of procurement principles, supply chain management, and Global logistics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software (Jaggaer).
- Certification in supply chain management or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
