AVP, Retail Banking Analytics.Egypt- Retail.Retail Banking

• Lead the Egypt retail banking analytics team in terms of delivery of key advanced analytics use cases, insights for all customer segments & products
• Responsible for timely delivery of accurate data along with democratization of data & insights across Egypt retail banking division
• Responsible for creating a high performing analytics team for Egypt retail banking division
• Partner with key business, products, digital & enabling function stakeholders to foster a data /insight driven culture within Egypt retail banking division

• Manage development, implementation & tracking of advanced analytics use cases in collaboration with products & segments in Egypt Retail Banking division
• Manage designing, implementing, tracking & driving usage of customer segmentation schemas for various businesses within Egypt Retail Banking division
• Manage provision of insights, root-cause / what-if analyses for Egypt retail banking division
• Support in designing, delivering & tracking of marketing campaigns for various products & segments within Egypt retail bank to maximize Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI)
• Collaborating with various digital squads to ensure timely & accurate delivery of data
• Collaborating with one data team to ensure smooth data delivery (both upstream & downstream data movement) for various products, segments & enabling functions like marketing, operations, customer experience etc
• Partnering with key stakeholders to create a culture of data / insights driven actions along with fostering the agenda of democratization of data
• Coaching & mentoring of data / analytics resources to create a world-class team within Mashreq & its peers

• At least 12+ years of relevant advanced analytics experience in any industry similar to that of retail banking operations is a must for this role
• Ability to lead a team of 5 to 6 team members in a work from anywhere environment with diverse specialization / skills is a must for this role
• Strong applied statistical skills, such as segmentation, regression, decision tree, Machine learning algorithms (such as ANN, SVM. Random Forest etc) are a must for this role
• Significant hands-on Experience on in data & analytical tools like SQL, SAS / R & Python is a must for this role 
• Strong problem solving skills & absolute ownership of business issues from a data & analytics view point is a must for this role Prior experience in a digital analytics environment is preferred for this role
• Prior experience in marketing analytics is preferred for this role
• Ability to identify opportunities and help manage increase the revenue or reduce cost from hidden opportunities in preferred for this role
• Experience on Power BI report development with prior expertise on process and report automation is preferred for this role 
• Ability to work well in a team and build strong network / relationships within and outside the organization is preferred for this role
• Prior experience in advanced analytics solutions in the sphere of unstructured data (text, pictures, video etc) is preferred
