Job Description:

Mission

Develop research projects based on ITC and specifically on AI, in autonomy or leading a small team of internal/external resources. Care all phases of project, starting from proposal to validation and reporting. Cooperate in international multicultural working groups.

Accountabilities

• Analyze physical systems and model them analytically, for the suitable parts, with reference to railway systems and vehicles.
• Individuate useful data, among available ones, for AI models, analyze and clean them, derive useful datasets.
• Develop and implement AI models. Design machine learning models and algorithms to solve problems and enhance functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional, multicultural and multicompany teams. Work with data scientists, system engineers, stakeholders, to build and deploy AI solutions. Cooperate with suppliers, partners and customers.
• Optimize AI systems. Improve the performance of AI models and systems for scalability and real-time applications.
• Conduct data analysis. Analyze large data sets to identify patterns and insights that inform AI development.
• Prototyping and testing. Create prototypes to test AI applications and refine machine learning techniques.
• Reporting in documents and powerpoint presentations
• Stay updated on advancements. Research and implement the latest advancements in AI and machine learning frameworks.
• Integrate AI solutions. Implement AI into existing software systems to enhance functionality and user experience.

Required Skills/ Knowledge

• Focus on Innovation and new technologies.

• Easiness in written reporting in English/preparing powerpoint presentations

• Readiness to travel occasionally (Europe/Asia/USA)
• Fluency in spoken  and written reporting in English.

Education / Qualifications
 

• Master Degree In Informatic Engineering
• Two or more years of certified working experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions.
• Basic but significant knowledge of Physics related to railway vehicles, in order to be able to physically model systems.
• Knowledge and usage of C++, Python, ML tools, Vertex AI and similar AI tools on cloud, Matlab.
• Experience in NoSQL database design and RDBMS design

Languages
 

• Good knowledge of written and spoken English (C1 or higher)
