As KDN AI GDC Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading teams to develop advanced AI models and solutions that drive innovation and provide actionable insights for KPMG. 

Key responsibilities include:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for AI technology implementation and adoption across all GDC locations.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams in different regions to achieve AI initiative objectives and drive continuous improvement.
AI Technology Implementation:
  • Oversee the deployment of AI solutions tailored to the specific needs of each GDC, ensuring alignment with local business requirements and global standards.
  • Ensure the use of cutting-edge AI technologies and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubernetes, cloud AI services) to optimize operations and service delivery.
Adoption and Change Management:
  • Drive the adoption of AI technologies by developing and executing comprehensive change management strategies.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance AI proficiency and foster a culture of innovation within GDC teams.
Project Management:
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects across multiple regions, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Implement robust project management methodologies, including agile practices, to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in each GDC, including local leadership, IT departments, and operational teams.
  • Conduct regular consultations to understand regional needs and ensure AI initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
Implementation and Optimization:
  • Monitor the performance of AI implementations, utilizing metrics and KPIs to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews to gather feedback, optimize AI solutions, and ensure sustained value delivery.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Ensure all AI initiatives comply with local and international regulations, data privacy laws, and KPMG’s quality standards.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards across all AI projects and deployments.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Stay abreast of the latest AI trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance AI offerings across GDCs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the AI teams and across all GDC locations.

Educational qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2), AI/ML technologies and AI product management (e.g., Certified AI Product Manager) are a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in AI technology implementation, project management, or technology consulting within a global professional services environment.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale AI initiatives across multiple international locations.
  • Experience managing AI projects in diverse regions, understanding cultural and operational nuances.

Skills/ Competencies

  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide diverse, international teams.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of AI technologies, including AI agents, machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), data analytics, and their applications in professional services.
    • Proficiency with the latest AI tech stack and cloud-based AI services (e.g., AWS AI, Azure AI, Google AI).
  • Project and Change Management:
    • Expertise in managing AI projects, including planning, execution, risk management, and resource allocation tailored to global initiatives.
    • Strong change management skills to drive technology adoption and cultural transformation across multiple regions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align AI initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational success.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across different cultures.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously across different time zones and cultures.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges and drive innovative AI solutions.
