How You'll Make an Impact

• Support Senior Controls Engineers on various projects.

• Design and develop software and industrial hardware solutions.

• Implement projects to reduce costs, scrap, and rework.

• Enhance first-pass yield performance.

• Participate in risk assessment reviews.

• Create standard documentation for controls.

• Reverse engineer and redesign systems.

• Integrate robotics and AI/deep learning technologies.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in controls engineering design and development.

• Proficiency in C#, Python, Microsoft SQL, Linux, LabVIEW, and PC integration.

• Experience with robotics (ABB, Fanuc, or Universal) preferred.

• Familiarity with Omron, Allen Bradley Rslinx, and Siemens preferred.

• Understanding of NFPA 79, ISO 13849, ISO 61131-3, IEC 61508 preferred.

• Experience in vision systems preferred.

• Work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
