People Analytics Business Product Portfolio Lead

The most adaptive organisms are the ones that effectively absorb and respond to information. To help our organization evolve, we continuously collect, analyze, and distill information about our most important asset—our people—into insights that drive decisions. From pre-hire to post-termination, we leverage our vast trove of clean data about our 30,000+ workers to scalably answer critical questions like, “Why has turnover gone up in my group?” and “What are the key drivers of employee engagement?”.

As a member of our world-class People Analytics team, the Product Portfolio Lead has the opportunity to understand business needs and connect them with effective technology solutions. You’ll contribute to high-impact, cross-functional projects that not only advance our company’s mission but also challenge your abilities and grow your skills in an innovative science company. You’ll get to contribute to the design of intuitive analytics products, guide technical teams in building solutions, and connect with stakeholders, including leaders and HR business partners, to understand utilization and improvement opportunities.

Why Join Our People Analytics Team?

  • Innovate with Rich Data: We have a rich trove of integrated datasets and robust dashboards, with millions of daily, automated quality checks.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy for our People Analytics technology portfolio and roadmap while partnering closely with IT to effectively drive its execution and deliver impactful, scalable solutions.
  • Understand upstream business processes and data as well as our technology ecosystem to suggest opportunities to improve how we amass data and convert it into democratized insights.
  • Spearhead efforts to identify and drive analytics-related automation (e.g., data quality scripts).
  • Ensure that bugs, enhancements, and recurring rituals (e.g., user access updates) are efficiently and accurately performed by our vendor partners with tidy documentation. Also lead user testing to ensure quality.
  • Partner with our People Technology and Information Technology teams to seamlessly align our efforts across source systems, integrations, warehouses, and insight layers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Desire to contribute: We’re a small team that has many opportunities to make significant contributions to our company’s important mission. Opportunities here are not bounded by your education degree, previous experience, etc.; only by the amount of effort you’re willing to put in to help our organization deliver on its mission.
  • Ability to drive projects proactively and collaboratively with a focus on impactful solutions.
  • Demonstrated facility with information technology as well as technical product management in partnership with IT professionals.
  • Concise communication, and an ability to simplify complex concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Python, R, ThoughtSpot, AWS, Workday, and/or Tableau proficiency.
  • Hands-on experience building with GenAI solutions, esp conversational chatbots for databases and dashboards.
  • Analytical mindset (e.g., fluency in metrics and statistics, visualization, survey methodology, data management, etc.).
