Business Data Analyst

We’re looking for a curious and proactive Business Data Analyst to join our internal IT team at Y Soft! In this role, you’ll take ownership of creating, optimizing and maintaining business reports that support decision-making across the company.   

You’ll transform complex data into clear insights, collaborate with stakeholders from various teams, and help drive our data governance efforts.  You’re also a strong communicator who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, while effectively collaborating with C-level stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Supporting and engaging with senior stakeholders across all business functions to understand what they need from a data perspective 
• Design, develop and implement advanced business reports based on internal IT systems 
• Using tools like Power BI and SQL, you’ll transform complex data into clear insights and accessible reports 
• Troubleshoot reporting-related issues (incident and problem management) 
• Support BI tool implementation and participate in their continuous improvement 
• Maintain clear and structured documentation for analytics, development and production 
• Contribute to the company’s data governance process, helping define metadata, relationships, and data lifecycle 

About you:

• You’re analytical, organized, and always ready to turn data into value 
• Solid knowledge of DAX (Power BI) and SQL querying 
• Interest in understanding company KPIs and business context 
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset 
• Ability to communicate clearly in both Czech and English  
• A team player attitude with a willingness to learn and share knowledge 
• Creativity and goal orientation
