What We're Looking For
We're seeking an AI Modernization Engineer to join our team developing Gen AI powered software modernization platform.
You'll develop sophisticated AI workflows, prompting strategies, and verification systems that enable our platform to understand complex legacy code and generate modern equivalents with minimal human intervention.

While our current implementation focuses on migrating stored procedures to modern repository patterns in modern languages (C#, Java, Node and Python), our vision extends to modernizing all types of legacy systems—from monolithic applications to outdated frontend frameworks, from proprietary middleware to obsolete integration layers.
Our approach combines advanced language models with specialized engineering frameworks to dramatically accelerate modernization while ensuring complete functional reliability. For example, we've transformed a financial services client's critical communications system from complex stored procedures to a modern API-based architecture, reducing what would typically be months of manual work to weeks while achieving 100% behavioral parity.
Our Team
You'll join our modernization accelerator team, that is part of our broader global digital consulting practice.
The digital consulting practice operates as a fully remote, highly collaborative group of specialists spread between London, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Chicago, Sarajevo, and Belgrade.
Modernization accelerator team works in close technical partnership with other focused groups building complementary agentic solutions, sharing insights, components, and approaches that strengthen our collective innovation capabilities.
After demonstrating significant traction with our initial accelerators, we're now scaling the team to expand our impact.
Role Overview
As our AI Modernization Engineer, you'll build the intelligence components that implement our transformation frameworks.
You'll create the specific AI workflows, prompting strategies, and verification tools that make those designs operational.
Our current solution uses AI to extract business rules from SQL, transform them into modern implementations, and verify functional parity.
You'll evolve these capabilities while developing new approaches for different legacy technologies. Your work will focus on maximizing AI effectiveness in understanding legacy code intent, generating high-quality modern equivalents, and ensuring complete reliability through sophisticated verification techniques.

- Implement language-specific parsers and analyzers that extract critical information from various legacy technologies
- Build intelligent systems that decompose complex legacy patterns into equivalent modern implementations
- Design rigorous verification frameworks that ensure 100% functional equivalence between legacy and modernized systems
- Develop feedback loop systems that continuously improve transformation accuracy based on verification results
- Implement components for standardized modern interface generation to facilitate integration with other systems
- Collaborate with global team members and partner with teams working on complementary agentic solutions to create a cohesive modernization ecosystem
