Job Summary :

As a Research Specialist, you will be responsible for researching, verifying, and updating data for ZoomInfo's industry-leading sales intelligence platform. The right candidate for this role has an engaging personality, an eye for quality, and a drive to learn with us as we continue to improve the top-quality research processes that keep ZoomInfo ahead of our competition.

What You'll Do:

• Data Research & Validation: Conduct thorough research on companies, corporate leadership, and industry structures using multiple online sources. Validate and update company data in compliance with ZI research standards.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure the highest level of accuracy and completeness in research, maintaining a Quality Score of 95% or above and meeting Productivity targets between 95%-100%.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to address research challenges, report inconsistencies, and resolve technical or subject-matter-related issues.
• Outbound Research & Verification: Successfully complete at least 100 research calls on Frontspin (Telephonic Research with Outbound customers), engaging with company representatives to verify critical firmographic data.
• Technical & Analytical Proficiency: Utilize Office Suite, G-Suite, and other research tools to analyze and manage large datasets efficiently.

What You Bring:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 – 4 years in data/content research, corporate intelligence, or a related field.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate structures, company leadership, and experience in sourcing reliable online research sources.
• Technical Knowledge: Experience in using tools like LLMs, visualization tools, search engines, and adept at managing large datasets in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Telephonic Research: Experienced in verifying data through outbound business calls confidently in the past role is a plus
• Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively, raise concerns, and seek resolutions on technical and subject-matter issues.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex research problems, recognize data inconsistencies, and perform in-depth analysis.
• Adaptability & Agility: Quick to adjust to changing research priorities and capable of handling fast-paced projects.
• Shift time & Overlap: 1 PM IST to 10 PM IST - At times there might be a overlap in working at PST time zones as required to align with project needs.
