Currently, we are seeking a Software Engineer II join our Team!

Description:

• Provide capabilities that directly support Active Network Defense (AND), Computer Network Defense (CND) and Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM). The project extends these same capabilities to the front-line security teams performing ISCM missions for their respective areas. This service is intended to counter the threat of attempts to compromise the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of customer systems. The goal is to ensure information security readiness as well as establishing and maintaining enterprise security tools for CND and information security continuous monitoring functions
• Implement data pipelines at scale, including both the synthesizing of new pipelines and the refactoring of existing pipelines to improve efficiency and code correctness 
• Monitor and improve existing data science tools in support of transition from development to production systems 
• Design, implement, and enhance ML analytics using a wide variety of Python libraries including, but limited to, PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn 
• Train, test, track and curate models using standard tools and practices 
• Integrate GitOps for continuous integration and deployment of models using Docker scaling 
• Use AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS for building and deploying applications 
• Integrate model and tool outputs within Computer Network Defense (CND) systems and/or software tools to enhance, implement, and maintain the Security Management/Monitoring services and capabilities within the Agency IT Enterprise 
• Document all processes and code; provide comprehensive reports on the completed tasks 

Required:

• Exp with Python 
• Exp with docker and/or kubernetes 

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS
• Machinelearning

Education & Experience:

• 14 years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required 
• 4 years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

• TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED BEFORE CONSIDERATION

Compensation: $143,248.18 - $185,380.00

Compensation ranges are a general guideline only and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, candidate’s scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and alignment with local market data.
