The Headlines:

In the role of Manager, Advanced Analytics Data based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will be responsible for developing analytical insights and capabilities with Molson Coors Business partners. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, deployment, and implementation of analytical solutions in support of IBP (Integrated Business Planning) areas such as Commercial, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.  This work will be conducted directly by this resource, or through direct oversight of both internal and external 3rd party resources. In addition, this resource will enable other functions to self-service analytics and data through design and development of capabilities to support their requests. This role will work closely with business resources to understand business questions and provide data that can be used to answer them. 

Finally, this role is expected to build strong relationships with IT business partners, data scientists, data analysts, and other key resources that rely on data and ensure that data is made available to all functions that can benefit from it. The position reports to the Vice President, Advanced Analytics, and works closely with a variety of internal/external stakeholders.

 

The Responsibilities:

Leadership

  • Provides leadership in the application of advanced analytics with a focus on data integration, governance, and processes
  • Aligns projects to link to overall marketing or planning timelines, and uses influence management to anticipate and solve key conflicts/tradeoffs in timing
  • Leads & manages internal and external resources to deliver specific analytics Use Cases, build global analytics capability and a collaborative, high performance working environment
  • Setting software engineering best practices for analytics
  • Leads the design and delivery of self-service tools to empower users with data

Delivery

  • Develop process and best practices to manage data transformation and delivery
  • Understand business context of data and build data models that support business analysts
  • Document data and processes
  • Build data self-service tools to facilitate Machine learning
  • Adopt best DevOps and DataOps practices
  • Design and implement best practices around a cloud first data stack utilizing Azure, Databricks, Airflow, DBT, Dash, and other tools

 

The Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent is required, which might be substituted with additional experience 
  • Experience in Airflow, writing custom DAGs to facilitate various ETL processes and ability to monitor the workflows.
  • Experience using Big data tools like Databricks and Spark for data analysis
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and GIT
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
  • Experience with Cloud technologies
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Databricks Dashboard preferred
  • Experience with Data Science preferred
