As a high-level TPM within the Oracle Database Program Management Team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of AI-driven databases, working on vector search, Applied AI, and streaming data to redefine how businesses and developers interact with data at scale. Responsibilities- Advance vector search and Generative AI at Oracle. Oversee initiatives to enhance vector search performance, query capabilities, scalability, and AI integration for use cases such as semantic search, recommendation engines, and NLP.
- Drive the end-to-end execution of complex AI-driven programs, collaborating across engineering, product, research, and cloud infrastructure teams.
- Define clear, structured roadmaps, breaking down complex AI and database programs into actionable milestones while ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Utilize effective project management methodologies to drive cross-functional teams across engineering, product, research, and customer success. Track everything—big and small—while maintaining schedules, managing resources, and ensuring progress aligns with strategic goals.
- Independently identify risks, proactively implement mitigation strategies, and drive data-driven decision-making to resolve bottlenecks.
- Provide clear, written, and verbal status updates to senior leadership, while maintaining open communication with all stakeholders to meet timelines and customer satisfaction.
- Actively partner with Database and Cloud teams to adopt and enhance appropriate processes, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure adherence to established best practices.
- Recommend process improvements and serve as an escalation point for project-related questions and issues, driving resolution effectively.
- Maintain thorough project documentation to ensure clarity, transparency, and alignment across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Adapt to changing or ambiguous situations and direct changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms.
- 12+ years of industry experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience (MUST HAVE).
- 4+ years of Technical Program Management experience (MUST HAVE).
- Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages such as C, Java, Python, or equivalent.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of AI and ML concepts, including:
- Vector search, similarity search algorithms, and embeddings.
- Generative AI models (LLMs, diffusion models, etc.).
- Experience with databases and distributed systems, including SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Proven ability to drive large-scale programs in enterprise environments, working across engineering, research, and product teams.
- A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring that all technical aspects of the program are thoroughly considered and executed with precision.
- A demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically. Ability to synthesize disparate information effectively and quickly into clear recommendations, actions, and decisions.
- Experience with one or more project management tools, building and maintaining dashboards, and process engineering.
- Prior experience in AI-driven product development or collaboration.
- Track record for driving programs across diverse set of teams in an enterprise-scale tech company.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
