About the Role
Verusen is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analysis Intern to delve into our performance metrics and unlock actionable insights. You'll work closely with our data to uncover trends, identify correlations, and explore potential avenues for enhancing product recommendations. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your statistical and analytical skills to drive improvements that directly impact the company's success.
Responsibilities
- Obtain, clean, and structure performance metrics data.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and potential relationships.
- Identify correlations and potential causal factors influencing product recommendations.
- Develop and apply statistical models to analyze data (supervised and unsupervised methods).
- Generate and present clear visualizations to communicate findings.
- Contribute to the creation of new performance metrics.
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other statistical analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts (correlation, hypothesis testing, etc.).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- A problem-solving mindset and a passion for exploring data.
- Interest in machine learning and predictive modeling would be a plus.

Additional Internship Details
- We are targeting a start date of May 27, 2025
- Internship end date is flexible dependent upon individual availability, but will be approximately 8 weeks long.
- This is a remote opportunity for US-based applicants. If you are in Atlanta, the option to work alongside colleagues in our Midtown HQ is an additional benefit.
