- Design and develop interactive dashboards & reports using Power BI / Tableau / Looker.
- Create data visualizations and storytelling dashboards to provide meaningful insights.
- Implement drill-downs, filters, and KPI tracking for trade operations, finance, HR, and marketing analytics.
- Ensure report performance optimization by using best practices in DAX, SQL queries, and indexing.
- Build star schema and snowflake schema models for efficient BI reporting.
- Develop ETL pipelines to extract data from trade, finance, and HR systems into the BI layer.
- Integrate data from multiple sources (PostgreSQL, Oracle, APIs, Data Lakes, etc.).
- Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and governance in all BI reports.
- Work with business users, data engineers, and product managers to understand data & reporting needs.
- Translate business questions into analytical solutions with clear insights.
- Present data-driven insights to executives and department heads for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to maximize BI tool adoption.
- Optimize dashboard speed, queries, and data refresh rates.
- Ensure data security & governance policies are maintained in BI reports.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) for report viewing & data access.
- Maintain documentation for dashboards, data models, and report logic.
Requirements
- Proficiency in BI Tools → Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik Sense.
- SQL Expertise → Ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- ETL & Data Integration → Hands-on experience with SSIS, Talend, or Apache NiFi.
- Data Modeling → Understanding of star schema, snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.
- Scripting Knowledge (Preferred) → Python or R for data manipulation.
- DAX & MDX (For Power BI) → Ability to write advanced DAX calculations.
- Version Control → Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, or DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical BI solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for working with non-technical users.
- Strong attention to detail & data accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, MIS, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of BI development experience in an enterprise setting.
- Experience in trade, finance, logistics, or customs analytics is a plus.
