[Job-21442] Business Intelligence Engineer - Tableau Developer, Colombia

We are looking for a skilled Tableau Developer with experience in developing functional and insightful dashboards and reports. This role is critical in transforming data into actionable insights through effective analysis and visualization. The ideal candidate will be a strong independent contributor who can also collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different teams.While industry-specific knowledge is not required, experience with contact center operations and analytics would be a plus.
Key Responsibilities1. Data Visualization and Reporting- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.- Transform complex data sets into clear, meaningful visualizations that support business decision-making.-Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting solutions.2. Data Analysis-Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance.-Provide actionable recommendations based on data findings.-Work with various data sources and databases to extract, process, and present information.3. Collaboration & Communication-Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.-Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other team members to ensure smooth data integration.-Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.-Ask critical questions, manage stakeholder expectations, and have the confidence to push back when necessary.4. Performance Optimization-Optimize dashboard performance for efficiency and user experience.-Follow best practices in data visualization and report development.5. Documentation and Training-Document data sources, methodologies, and reporting processes for future reference.-Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively utilize Tableau dashboards.
Required:- Experience in developing Tableau dashboards and reports.- Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases (preferably Snowflake or SQL Management Studio).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Experience organizing and working with data in spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).- Ability to communicate technical data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to ask the right questions and challenge requirements when needed.- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred:- Experience in contact center operations and analytics.- Familiarity with other BI tools (Power BI, Looker, etc.).- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
