Corporate Data Platform Manager

ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Platform Manager with a strong background in Information Technology and expertise in Data Architecture and platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the data strategy for the internal data platform, related initiatives, budget and resources. The candidate will analyze business processes, identify data-driven insights, and provide strategic recommendations to improve operational efficiency and support decision-making processes. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture tools and methodologies, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate will manage a team, providing leadership and guidance to achieve project goals.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Define the strategy for SICPA internal data platform, the underlying projects, budget and resources to be successful. 
• Design the data architecture for SICPA internal data platform to sustain the strategy.
• Understand, analyze and document business and data requirements to define the right data platform initiatives.
• Lead and manage a team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the maintenance and operation of the data platform.
• Support Business to achieve their Data Governance Goals aligned with SICPA strategy.
• Advisory on advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to enhance business operations. 
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data architecture and IT.

PROFILE

• Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing data platform environment, Azure Data Architectures, MS SQL.
• Proven experience in analyzing and documenting business requirements.
• Leadership and coordination of agile teams for the development of new data architectures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data governance and data quality management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft data architecture and Power BI, Github.
• Knowledge in ERP processes and dataset is a plus (Sicpa’s ERP is SAP S4).
• Familiarity with SQL, Python.
• Experience in Infrastructure as a Code deployment. DevOps management CI/CD is a plus.
• Experience in coordinating work with tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English.
