About the role

As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for interacting with Microsoft’s Power BI to generate, operate, and maintain BI applications that serve to provide the company with actionable business insights. These solutions allow you to address optimization scenarios in several organizations and our team is committed to showcasing the value of technology! Essential Functions

• Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights
• Create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI
• Identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently
• Develop & Support ETL process to source, aggregate and summarize data for reporting
• Strong ability to analyze data for reporting and data mining purposes
• Perform database development and performance tuning
• Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence
• Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals
• Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
• Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards

Required Qualification

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data-specific roles
• Proficiency in Power BI development, including the ability to create complex reports and dashboards
• Strong experience in data modelling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and Power Query
• Solid knowledge on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Ability to design and optimize data models for performance and efficiency
• Demonstrated experience in data visualization best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with JIRA and Agile project management methodologies
• Proficiency in version control systems like Bitbucket/GIT
• Knowledge of testing practices and the ability to perform testing as needed
• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
