About the role

As a Senior Data Engineer at Nithio, you will architect and maintain scalable, efficient, and automated data infrastructure to power our analytics and lending platforms. You will be responsible for building robust pipelines and systems that integrate diverse data sources, enable real-time insights, and support the deployment of predictive models. You’ll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and actionable. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The Senior Data Engineer will report to the Chief Data Scientist. This role will require international travel.

  • Apply rigorous testing, validation, and CI/CD practices to ensure data quality, pipeline reliability, and logging of system behavior.
  • Create and maintain high-quality documentation to ensure reproducibility and consistency
  • Lead project kick-off & close-out, serving as project manager and point of contact with external partners for relevant initiatives
  • Serve as a technical resource who can train others on our systems, pipeline, and data engineering principles and communicate complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders
