Overview
The Senior Finance Analyst's main responsibilities will be to support the Senior Analytics Manager with financial forecasting and high-level performance analysis across both Sportsbook & Casino. The focus of the role will be to build accurate forecasts, utilizing modeling skills, as well as analyzing trends and providing insights to support senior stakeholders with strategic decisions. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex and accurate financial data clearly to stakeholders in a fast-paced working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, as well as related products and operations.
  • Work with the Senior Analytics Manager to build and maintain the primary business forecasts across Sportsbook & Casino, utilizing modeling techniques.
  • Take ownership of a small suite of business performance dashboards to provide accurate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Finance and Commercial teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of business metrics.
  • Collaborate with other Analysts and Data Scientists to find solutions to business problems.
  • Remain current on technology and trends in data analytics and the sports betting & gaming industry.

Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience in an analytics role.
  • Degree in a relevant field, e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Strong SQL proficiency.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Looker (Tableau preferred).
  • Experience in data analysis and/or financial model development.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with stakeholders, earning trust and prioritizing relationships.
  • Data-driven and comfortable in working in high-growth environments.
  • Logical and analytical approach to problem solving, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in the betting and gaming industry is a significant plus.
