About the Role:
 

The analytics team’s mission is to empower Cityblock with trustworthy data insights, intuitive and reliable tools, and deep data domain expertise in support of our mission to radically improve the health of marginalized communities at scale.
 

The Senior Data Analyst in this role should have a strong sense of curiosity, a propensity towards action, and a desire to work in agile teams. In this role, you should feel comfortable working with and advising experienced business executives, technical stakeholders, engineers, product managers, and clinical teams. This analyst will act as a technical mentor and leader across the analytics team to assist with code reviews, question design, and stakeholder management. This analyst will find themself supporting marketing leaders to design attribution models, analyzing experiments, designing tables with data engineers, and building new data-based tools to solve complex operational problems.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders across marketing, patient engagement, operations, product, and clinical teams to transform data into strategy and business needs into analytics solutions

  • Own and grow dbt-based infrastructure to support marketing campaigns, outreach programs, and other engagement workflows while utilizing development best practices

  • Design and analyze experiments (A/B and multivariate) to measure campaign effectiveness

  • Improve attribution logic for engagement events using best practices in marketing analytics

  • Build compelling visualizations and dashboards to support decision-making

  • Collaborate with other data analysts on shared infrastructure and cross-functional deliverables

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, healthcare informatics, statistics, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience using SQL in production environments (BigQuery preferred), with fluency in writing performant, maintainable queries and a strong understanding of data modeling, testing, and analytics best practices

  • 3 years of experience in presenting data-driven analyses, insights, and recommendations to senior executives and large groups

  • 2 years experience supporting marketing or growth teams, including designing and analyzing statistically valid experiments

  • 3 years of team-based analytics work experience with cross-functional stakeholders

  • A high degree of proficiency with at least one BI tool (Looker preferred), including experience with visualization best practices

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is: 

$115,000 - $130,000
