The Ford Credit Enterprise Technology / Data Engineering Department is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Technical Project Manager to join the Ford Credit Program Management team to lead the successful delivery of complex/high-impact technical projects.
The Data Engineering team is responsible for the management of the Data Warehouse which is the single source of integrated global data. Ford Credit relies on the data to make informed and strategic decisions. As a member of the Data Engineering team, you will have an impact on ensuring the delivery of global data needs.
Data Engineering is leading the way in modernization by moving the existing On-Prem Global Data Warehouse to Google Cloud Data Platform, provisioning integrated data to enable analytics / insights, creation of marketing campaigns to increase market share, enhance customer experience, generate operational and regulatory / compliance reports, and data to consume in digital products (consumer products, insurance and commercial financing).
There is high volume demand for data, large department portfolio with multiple workstreams continually running in parallel. The Technical Project Manager will collaborate with the cross functional teams to plan, monitor, execute all phases of the project lifecycle for modernization, and manage strategic and new business use cases impacting the portfolio.

What you'll do…
- Manage the demand and coordinate changes through system of delivery.
- Manage and coordinate dependencies with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate across functional teams to define release content, priorities, and dependencies
- Execute PI Planning for Data Engineering team
- Prepare, participate and facilitate Agile/SAFe Ceremonies
- Manage changes, risks, issues, mitigation planning, and contingency planning
- Define and maintain Data Engineering roadmaps
- Identify integration conflicts and issues with global and cross portfolio initiatives ensuring they are brought into the proper governance level
- JIRA Administrator for the portfolio: Maintain user maintenance, drive data integrity and consistency across portfolio
- Generate JIRA and Confluence dashboards and required views to support reporting and statuses
- Define, analyze, and provision key performance metrics to leadership requests
- Create articles to communicate statuses and celebrate successes
You'll have…
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
- 8+ years project management experience
- 2+ years working experience in JIRA
- 5+ years' experience managing Data warehouse projects for Cloud or On-Prem warehouses
- Organizational and time management skills to keep teams and projects on schedule
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills for working in a global environment
- Ability to multi-task, manage changing priorities and adapt quickly to changing demands
- Strong Facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in all phases of the development life cycle and familiarity with agile practices
