We’re looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer with a good understanding of SaaS business concepts and great engineering expertise. You’ll play a key role in transforming data into strategic insights that drive decision-making across the organization.
You will work closely with Data Engineers and other departments like Finance and Marketing to ensure data analysts are empowered with the right data at the right time. You will work with a modern data stack, exploring data and transforming using SQL (via dbt Cloud) and exposing them for analysis using PowerBI Semantic Models
Your Tasks
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into optimized data models
Write complex SQL queries to transform data from raw format to well-defined data models
Build PowerBI Semantic Models with star schema modeling technique, using advanced DAX queries
Partner with the Data Engineering team to improve data models and pipeline reliability
Support financial reporting and forecasting with data explorations and proofs of concept
You Bring
4+ years of experience in Analytics engineering
Advanced SQL skills – ability to work with complex data models and write optimized queries
Strong expertise with Power BI semantic models, data modeling (star schema) and DAX queries
Experience with dbt is a plus
Experience working with cross-functional teams, translating business questions into analytical deliverables
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven SaaS environment
Familiarity with Finance KPIs in relation to SaaS environment (e.g., ARR, CAC, LTV etc.)
Strong communication skills and a proactive, business-oriented mindset
