Job Description
Your daily tasks:
- Conducting basic data transformation and ingestion processes.
- Developing data pipelines.
- Data ingestion using various formats (JSON, xml, plain text, avro, parquet).
- Identifying potential production issues.
- Creating simple custom solutions for data processing development.
- Orchestration with Airflow DAGs.
- Designing and optimizing data storage solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes.
Qualifications
- Experience working with SQL and Python.
- Basic knowledge of Apache Airflow.
- Basic knowledge of Big Data main tools: Hadoop, Spark (PySpark).
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes.
- Basic familiarity with data warehousing (e.g. BigQuery - preferred, Snowflake) and cloud platforms (GCP - preferred, AWS, Azure).
- Passion for video games.
- Proactivity and initiative to solve problems without waiting for detailed instructions.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Determination and persistence when facing obstacles.
- Eagerness to learn and improve continuously within our tools, techniques, and industry practices.
- Very good communication and collaboration skills.
- Good command of English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Apache Spark / PySpark.
- Knowledge of Hive, Beam, Kafka.
- AI/ML experience.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
