The Head of Platform Support is responsible for overseeing and managing the Platform Support unit within the Product Development department. This critical role ensures the seamless operation, reliability, and continuous enhancement of the fundcraft platform. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the support framework, optimizing platform performance, and aligning platform support initiatives with business objectives.

This role encompasses three key domains: Platform User Support, DevOps, and Data Stewardship. The Head of Platform Support will lead a team that facilitates smooth user adoption, maintains platform infrastructure, and enforces data governance principles. They will serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding platform-related issues and improvements. Additionally, they will work closely with Product Conceptualisation, and client-facing teams to drive operational excellence and ensure a high-quality user experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration to optimize both user support and platform performance.

This role is based in Spain and reports directly to the VP Product Development.

Requirements

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the overall strategy for Platform Support, ensuring alignment with business and product objectives.
  • Lead and manage the Platform Support teams based in Girona:

Data Stewardship:

  • Foster a data-driven culture across the company.
  • Define, communicate, and enforce data-related rules and processes to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data governance frameworks.
  • Drive initiatives to improve data accessibility, consistency, and security.

DevOps

  • Design and maintain the platform architecture to ensure scalability and performance.
  • Optimize infrastructure and deployment processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure high system availability, reliability, and security.
  • Work closely with Engineering teams to refine CI/CD pipelines and automate key processes.

Platform User Support

  • Facilitate smooth adoption of platform changes by internal and external users.
  • Change Management Ambassadors to drive user engagement.
  • Develop and implement training programs for internal and external users.
  • Ensure efficient handling of bug management (identification, triaging, and escalation but not resolution).
  • Provide support for data extractions, imports, and migrations to enhance user efficiency.
  • Work closely with Product Delivery, and Product Conceptualisation teams to facilitate tailored client solutions that align with the platform’s capabilities.

Work closely with the Product Conceptualisation, Platform Development and Product Delivery teams to contribute to the definition of our digital solutions, enhance operational capabilities and support business expansion initiatives. Monitor department KPIs, analyze data insights to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience in similar roles.
  • Strong strategic and operational mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, particularly in tech-driven environments.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and deployment automation.
  • Experience with change management and user adoption strategies.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
