The Data Science team is charged with the responsibility of extracting insights from structured and unstructured data for The Lottery Corporation. The focus of this analysis is to provide a capability for The Lottery Corporation to make smarter decisions, deliver better products and services, and improved customer experience. The role will seek to build Machine Learning models and AI systems to integrate into our products and services to enhance operational outcomes and customer experiences.

What you’ll do 

• Engage with stakeholders to understand their pain points, identify opportunities, and contribute to developing advanced analytical/machine learning/AI solutions that can create real value for our customers. 
• Create innovative data science solutions that you'll execute and will create value for our customers.
• Leadership on data science and AI “best practice” through ongoing scans of the external environment which includes data science/AI ecosystem (e.g. platforms, tools and processes).
• Reporting on data science success through the design of KPIs and success metrics, reporting building business understanding of success. 

What you’ll bring  

• Ability to understand a customer's business context/problem and translate into an innovative and iterative data science solutions
• Experience in implementing data science solutions and pushing them into production
• Proven experience in a Machine Learning or Data Scientist role and a track record of building and implementing Machine Learning or Deep Learning models and frameworks
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and proven experience in building fruitful relationships 
• Qualification in quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics etc.)
