Data Engineer

Job Description

As a Data Engineer in the Strategic Products Cluster, you will:

• Work with analysts and product stakeholders to define and implement scalable data models that support business questions and KPIs

• Understand AI-oriented requirements within products and aim to to make an impact using your knowledge and relevant data

• Design and develop data pipelines that feed our organizational data warehouse (DWH)

• Take ownership and provide support of data assets that power dashboards, experimentation, and deep product analytics

• Identify, diagnose and resolve issues with data and data pipelines 

• Solve problems using a data-driven approach

• Contribute to the strategy and best practices around data architecture

• Collaborate with server and frontend engineers to ensure data is aligned with product logic, and help them incorporate data in scale through the product

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a data engineer building scalable, maintainable data solutions 

• Ability to work closely with analysts and product teams, with proven knowledge of how to turn product and business questions into data pipelines and models that support accurate, timely, and actionable insights

• You’re strong in SQL and Python, understanding dimensional modeling and DWH principles

• You care deeply about data quality, performance, and usability, and you’re proactive about collaboration

• Experience with Trino/Presto, Apache Iceberg, Airflow and Spark would be an advantage
